Reading and Phonics at Kings Road
At Kings Road we teach phonics following the Twinkl Phonics complete Systematic Synthetic Phonics (SSP) teaching programme. This provides a structured approach to learning grapheme-phoneme correspondences (GPC’s) and helps children to progress from simple sounds to developing more complex knowledge and skills.
